Summer Opportunity for HS Students
OBW is a one-of-a-kind summer program occurringย June 2-6, 2024,ย that offers students in high school first-hand experience in the world of business. You become part of a "company" and work together in various events and competitions. You will also have the opportunity to interact and learn from community business leaders. You will gain skills in leadership, communication, team building, responsibility, money management, entrepreneurship, marketing and much more. At Oklahoma Business Week, you will learn that the business world can be serious stuff, but it can also be fun.
At our camp, students can combine the summer fun they crave with real world business experience. Plus, they will take a test run of college life, meet new friends, strengthen their leadership skills, explore their career options, and get the chance toย win a scholarship or a laptop computer. Oklahoma Business Week will be held on the campus of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma,ย June 2nd-June 6th.ย Participants will live in the dorms and participate in a variety of activities on East Central Universityโs campus.ย This is a great opportunity for students to get a feel of what college life is really like!
The cost for this award-winning camp is only $300 per participant. This includes their housing and all meals for the entire week.ย Although Oklahoma Business Week is valued at about $800 per student, due to our generous supporters, we can cover most expenses, which cuts the cost for the students tremendously. Students may also be eligible for need-based scholarships to further reduce the camp fee to only $50.
